I went to a round table organized by Microsoft this week to discuss challenges in front of the business women.
Female stakeholders were there, including Tanya Shirlow, head of SMB at Microsoft UK; Bindi Karia, head of Microsoft's BizSpark program. Sangeeta Sidhu, CEO and founder of Nosh Detox delivery; Marie-Claude Hemming, policy advisor for the Federation of small businesses (FSB) and Gillian Nissim, founder of working mother.

Former Sangeeta Sidhu found women can succeed in a corporate environment because of the lack of flexible working on offer, which led her to leave her job in a company and to establish his own business.
I got some interesting responses on Twitter of male it professionals about it, saying to succeed in a corporate environment is a human issue just as a female and that flexible work is often a problem in the public sector as private.
